ABOUT THE CAROB MATE CUP:  Lightweight mate cup made of Carob (Algarrobo) wood are very traditional cups to drink yerba mate. Each mate has a 100% artisanal process, from the carving of the wood to the final finish. Being an artisanal product, the measurements can vary from one mate to another. Each gourd is unique with its own exclusive beauty. 

MEASURES: 3.5 inches high / 2 1/4 inches diameter (Size might slightly vary depending on design)

HOW TO CURE A CAROB MATE CUP:

1) Use butter (yes, regular food grade butter) to moisture the outside & inside walls of the cup.

2) Add already used damp yerba mate, fill the cup and let it set for 24 hours.

3) After that period of time, empty the mate cup and rinse.

4) Dry very well with a kitchen towel and let it dry at an airy area. When dried you can start enjoying it!
